Friday Plus-Feb. 24th

We play Candyland a lot around here.  Wyatt is obsessed.  Maybe I should buy more games for a better variety.

We went to Yogurt Jungle the other night.  Normally, Wyatt shares with Jason but Jason is out of town so this guy was so excited to get his own.

We haven't been to Kids' Club at the mall in awhile.  The stars were aligned and we went back.  Wyatt's face says it all and how much fun he had.  Love that kid.  He gets so excited about everything!

Celebration Week- 2012

Jason once again spoiled me for Celebration Week!

He took me to George Strait!  It was so great and George always puts on a great show. 

Jason and I also treated ourselves with an iPad this year for our birthdays.  We all have to share around here but Wyatt I think sees the most time with it. :)  I've already used it for tutoring so it is so great.

Jason wanted to go to dinner and a movie for his birthday.  He also wanted to go out the next night for dinner as a birthday present so we did.  How simple! Check. We lived some old memories while taking Ole Green out for our date.  We used to take my car but since we got the minivan we tend to take his truck on date nights. Ha! We ate a lot during the week-especially out!  Jason was out of town for some of the week but that didn't stop Wyatt and I from having fun. 

What Haven't We Been Up To....

Jason:
He has been working hard (okay when doesn't he do that).  He recently had a big conference at work that he was in charge of.  It went so well that he got a well-deserved standing ovation.  Way to go, Jason!  He just finished up teaching another class at UOPX.  He tried several new things with his class that I find very interesting-he put all the people getting bad grades into a group together to write a group paper.  We I know how annoying group work is when you are OCD and are "smart" and you have people who don't care so I'm sure it was nice for the top people in his class to catch a break this time.  My Jason is so smart!  He put together the other crib so now I can get to work on decorating the nursery.

Kate:
Besides growing by the second, I've been up to some other things as well.  We got a new car for me and we all love it.  Wyatt calls it a "vini van."  It's so fun to drive and I can't wait for carpools galore.  I've been taking some parenting classes for CE credit.  Some boring....some not so boring.  I'll have to say that they are all the same story but maybe some new things to do or say with kids.  Let's just say I'm glad I have the basis of Love and Logic.  It makes it all easier to understand.  Steve's Krazy Sub opened by our house so needless to say I'm obsessed and am constantly craving it.

Wyatt:

This guy is the busiest!  He is still working on the poo thing and trying to earn Buzz but yesterday he did it in the toilet....twice!  I'm so proud.  He has spent lots of time with his cousins and just enjoys life-whether we are at the zoo, Peter Piper Pizza, park, sports class, or just at home having a picnic on the tramp.  Wyatt is even in two playgroups which he loves.  I guess this is good prep for him going to Preschool next year.  Sometimes I don't know what to do with myself when he is gone but it goes by fast so I manage. :)

We also had a great Celebration Week but that deserves a different post!
