Speaking of Brown Nosers!!

In my Spanish class the other night, some people were freaking out that we were going to have to know all of this stuff. They asked our teacher and he quickly replied, "NO WAY!!" We definitely go way too fast for anyone with little or no Spanish to pick up. Fortunately, it is just a review for me. One thing our teacher wants us to do is practice speaking the language. He goes through and tells a story (while we do actions with it). Then he puts the pictures on the overhead and we tell the story to our neighbor. Well, let's just say I embellish a lot! I add my own things into each segment of the story. My teacher just laughs and laughs.

So, after the others asked him he said, "I just want you to practice and pick up some vocabulary. Of course, Kate will be able to add more to her story (pointing to me)." Yes, I was a little embarrassed and honored. My friend next to me said, "Brown Noser." My reply was, "Always have been, always will be."
