Wyatt and I were able to spend almost two weeks in Utah this summer. While I was driving to my mom's house from the airport I just got a huge grin on my face. There is nothing like visiting the place you grew up....your hometown, your family, your former life! I loved seeing the mountains again. We loved every second of our trip. Here are some things we enjoyed:
lazy summer days on the lawn
walking barefoot outside
hanging out with my family
eating cherries on the grass by the pool
swimming in a heated pool
seeing friends from high school/college
touring the fire station....and they actually had to leave during our tour
Thanksgiving Point farm
Farmer's Market Downtown SLC
Swinging on the swing
hanging out on the tramp
shopping, shopping, and more shopping
cousins
Wyatt being mesmerized by his cousin Hugh
The Dodo....twice...need I say more! (my favorite restaurant)
Nordies (Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale)
going to parks
popsicles
Creamies
Snoshacks
Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House
sitting in the shade and it actually cools you off
family party
seeing the grandmas
playing Casino (a card game) and Mah Jong late at night
Wyatt tried a lot of new foods
Wyatt staying up until 9:30 pm while Grandma was tending (she couldn't bare to hear him cry)playing tennis
and my favorite...Wyatt actually did pretty well with babysitters. No major tantrums!
but I also learned that my son does have "quite the set of lungs" from pain due to teething
and, of course,
missing Jason
It was difficult for us to come home but we eventually did. This was Wyatt's first trip to UT but I'm sure there will be plenty more. Thanks for the great times!

Trampoline hair is the greatest!! Love all the pictures. I went to the temple open house too when I was there with my family. BEAUTIFUL spot. Glad your trip was so so fun. :)
