Wyatt is turning into a little boy, not just a baby anymore. This stage is so fun. No more plopping him on a blanket or having him in his car seat. No way! This little guy likes to be on the move (except for the fact that he STILL isn't crawling but he is oh so close). His little personality is beginning to shine and it does not disappoint!
Some things we have been up to are.....walking, walking, and walking outside. Well, of course, we throw in some playing at the parks here and there but we are constantly outside because it is so nice. We go on at least two walks outside every day. We are loving it! Whenever we go on a walk Wyatt puts his two little hands on the front of the stroller and is on the lookout for a P-A-R-K. I have to spell it out because I'm afraid if I even say the word when I type he will get excited and want to go. As we pass a park he gets all excited and starts to grunt because he wants to get out and play. So, being the "cool" mom that I am, we stop and play. He loves the swings and the little horses on springs. Just look at the smile on this face. Wouldn't you go to the park several times a day to see that?
Our ward park days have started up again and Wyatt loves it. First of all, you must understand the degree that this kid enjoys being with others. I always say that he needs an OLDER sibling to keep him company. This is definitely a trait he picked up from his parents because we love being with people. He will play with little kids for hours and hours on end if he could. So, the kids at park day keep him well entertained. I might add that so does the dirt and rocks at the park. This is a new found joy....dirt! He is a total boy! He enjoyed cleaning off some rocks and spitting out the debris onto his shirt. He was not a happy camper when it was time to leave and we started walking away from the park.
We are definitely known as the King and Queen of the outside around our neighborhood (okay so it's self appointed but that doesn't matter). We love seeing neighbors as we walk by and sometimes we sit and gab for awhile. Wyatt is also starting to spot airplanes and actually points to them in the sky. It's so cute! Lately, Wyatt has been more mobile in his stroller. I tell ya, he is always on the move! He likes to turn around and if we are almost home sometimes I let him do it because I hate missing this grin. Oh, and yes, also because I'm a "cool" mom.

Yes, you are a "cool" Mom and yes, I think you are "king and queen" of just about everything!!! What darling pics!! Those eyes just melt my heart... and Emma's! :)
He is too cute. I love it when cooler weather sets in!! Our neighborhood park actually gets used! :)
Kate he is so cute! He's still not crawling?? Any day now, you just wait! Then he'll really be on the move. Tyler just recently learned to pick up some serious speed. He goes so fast I can't catch him now. I love this age too, it's the best :)
HE is so stinken cute!!!! Like a little poster baby. So big now, it seems like you just had him. Oh I want to just squeeze him! Really.
Oh and P.S I read your following post. I think its crap. You are beautiful. That was my thoughts the first time I saw you in our new ward as newlyweds. And your smile is stunningly beautiful. You glow. Just my thoughts I'm sharing =) Just take a look through my eyes. YOUR HOT!
Have I mentioned that he is just adorable? I take the kids for a walk early in the morning, and usually one at night. However, I'm certainly not cool enough to take them to the park. You win for fun Mommy!
It is a nice stage when they stop being babys but I still think that 3 is the fun age.
