Spoiled Rotten.....Twice!

Jason and I are always telling Wyatt that he is spoiled rotten. Well, he sure is because in the past six months he has gone to Disneyland TWICE! Our sister-in-law won a Disneyland trip on the radio so we invited ourselves to tag along with their family. Jason was so excited in all of the planning and couldn't wait to see Wyatt at Disneyland (again). I didn't want to crush his dreams so I kept my mouth shut but I didn't think Wyatt would love it. I thought he might like the characters because he loves, LOVES the cow at Chick-fil-a. Everything else would be a different story. I mean, in the summer he cried on most of the rides, was off schedule so he was always tired, etc. Boy was I wrong!

Wyatt loved every single minute of this trip (except for one hour where he earned the naughty sticker because he was so exhausted). He loved the rides, eating the food, playing with his grandparents and cousins, people watching, getting pictures with the characters, and just being someplace different. He loved it so much that he would barely sleep in his stroller because he didn't want to miss the party. Surprisingly enough, even with slim naps (one mini one a day), he was pleasant as a peach!

Two funny stories.

First, Wyatt would get so mad at me when I would put the stroller shade down so the sun wouldn't get on him. He would cry because he wanted to see everything. As soon as I put the shade back up he would immediately stop crying.

Second, Wyatt loved the carousel. Now, just for background knowledge (I'm a teacher so I have to do this), you remember that Wyatt rides the carousel at the mall every week. So, he knows what one looks and sounds like. You should have seen this kid when he saw the carousel at Disneyland. His little butterfly hands and legs starting going crazy! Jason couldn't resist and took him on it. As soon as the bell rang to start the ride, Wyatt grabbed on to the pole for the ride. He knew exactly what to do. So cute!

So cute! When we took the kids this past January, Dane had no real naps either--except for collapsing in the stroller for an hour. But he still managed to stay happy most of the time. I think Disneyland just brings out the happiness and joy in the smallest and tiredest of kids. :) Glad you had so much fun--it made me want to take the kids and dash off!!

I think one is the magic age for Disneyland. Joshie loved it too last year and was happy as a peach. Cute pics!
