Story Time

Every day Wyatt and I sit in his room and read books. Often he likes to read them himself and then we read some together. He definitely has his favorites. We read the Jr. Book of Mormon together first and then the other fun books in our collection. It's kind of nice that Wyatt will just sit in his little corner and read for awhile. I love to get my daily dose of scripture reading in at this time or some other reading in case I was diligent and got it done earlier. This book Bubbles, Bubbles is one of his absolute favorites. He always says "Bubba" and points to it when he looks in the corner for it.

Well, the other day I was reading and I kept hearing this same noise from Wyatt over and over again. The sound he made sounded like a "moo" but more like a "boo." I looked down and saw this

I wanted to see if he really knew what noise a cow made so I turned to this page and got the same reaction.

I started asking him what does a cow say and he says "boooooo" so loud and cute. He even does it on demand. We showed the lady at the bank but he only did it once because he got shy around her. But it is his new trick to add to his list (a blog post of it's own).

Could it be that we have read that book over and over and over and over......

or is it his obsession with the Chick-fil-A cow that we see every week.

A cow says Mooooo. A sheep says Baaaaa. Three singing pigs say La La La! No, no you say, that isn't right, pigs say Oink all day and night. (I forget the part about rhinos and dogs and cats) Quack says the duck, a horse says neigh, it's quiet now, what do you say?

Btw, I love Jason's rendition of "Book of Mormon Stories". So stirring!

Oh yea, Rhinoceroses snort and snuff and little dogs go ruff, ruff, ruff. Some other dogs go bow, wow, wow, and cats and kittens say, meow.

What is my brain becoming?

So cute! Everything round is a ball to Tyler. An apple..."ba", an orange..."ba". It's so funny. I love when they just blurt thing out. All through the store Ty blurts "ba" out or "booon" for balloon. I love this age. I'm so glad Wyatt is getting better! Sounds like you've had it rough at your house.
