I have a little parrot who resides in my home. He eats and sleeps pretty well but wants to do and say everything I do. Gosh, I better be careful.
I have learned this lesson the hard way.
While playing a matching game with the parrot, I didn't get my match that I thought was in the bag. So, I said, "Shoot!" A few matches (or unmatches later) I said, "Dang it!" Well, to the surprise of my virgin ears, later that day while playing the matching game again, my little parrot piped up and said, "Shoot!" Later on in the day he said, "Dang it!"
Oopsie.
I'll have to admit that it is pretty cute when he says it. Plus, it beats him crying about it. Now, he just says, "Shoot!" and moves on with what he was doing. I have to hand it to him because he does say it at appropriate times. But I'm so glad that it's not worse. Now I know I need to be careful what I say and do.
Monkey see. Monkey do.

Yes. Be grateful it was "shoot" and "dang it". My little parrot has dropped the S bomb a time or two. bad mommy.
Ha Ha. Emma says "holy crap" occasionally. Where in the world do you think she got that from? :)
Yes, please do be careful. I've had to learn that the hard way. Just imagine cute innocent Morgan saying some not so nice things.
This would be me just hanging my head in shame. You've read the posts. hahaha
