Saturday is a Special Day

I believe I've mentioned our love for Saturdays around here. It means: Diet Cokes/Slurpees, Family Fun Day, trips to Costco for shopping and lunch, Home Depot, or just working around the house. Oh, and being lazy. But our favorite thing is that Daddy is HOME! Wyatt just loves his Daddy and asks for him all day.

Over the weekend Jason and Wyatt did lots of work around the house. They planted flowers and our garden, sprayed for bugs, cut down trees, cleaned the garage, squirted off the chalk drawings on the back porch, and much, much more. Wyatt keeps talking about the fun they had.

After we ran our errands today, he got out of the car and said, "I see flowers, Mommy." So, in the light rain, we trekked to the front yard so he could admire his work.

Mondays are a little boring helping Mommy with her chores. We can't wait until Saturday!

Makes me want to sing the primary song,"Saturday is a special day, it's the day we get ready for Sunday". Your front yard (and flowers) are beautiful. If you weekdays are boring, call me up and Wyatt and makenzie can do a park playdate. Your neighborhood or mine :)

Those are eventful Saturdays! I'm usually so tired by Saturday that I just want to veg and Blake wants to go out and "do". I guess I need to just veg Friday afternoon so that I'm recharged for Saturday!
