I know what you are thinking, when does that happen? Well, for me it doesn't happen very often because a certain someone I know loves to talk (and it isn't me). But for a few of our long road trips this summer we wisened up and installed a DVD player in the car. We had a contraption of some sort before but this time it doesn't run out of battery after one movie and doesn't have to be taken on and off the headrest every single minute.
And the kicker.....
Jason bought these headphones. I didn't think Wyatt would go for it but he did. It is the only way he can hear the movie so he chooses to wear them. And can I just say how peaceful our road trips have become. My mom and I drove to Utah and we were able to talk and talk without interruption and without screaming over the movie. We even had to look back more than a few times to see if he was sleeping. It was that quiet.
Add a bag of popcorn and this kid is in heaven.
Me too! But I will say I sometimes missed his funny car sayings. :)

I may need to try this! Now with two kidlets in the back seat I'm always worried the movie is so loud it will wake the sleeping baby. Where did he get the headphones? Great idea! Peace and quiet :)Not to mention I'm answering so many 2 year old questions while I'm driving it's a wonder we make it to our destination with no accidents!
I like the headphones idea. We don't have a dvd player in our car, but if we ever get one, I'd want the headphones too. I can't believe how grown up Wyatt is!
