Jason and I went on a staycation for our babymoon this time. We wanted to go somewhere more exciting but with Jason's travel work schedule and how far along I was getting it just wasn't going to happen. But we loved it! It was our first time having a staycation and I highly recommend it. The only thing that wasn't on our side was the weather.
First stop was the Melting Pot. It was our first time there and we loved it. I'm still dreaming of some of the items (too many to list).
Then we watched a movie and chilled at the hotel. Anyway, the next morning we got massages which were heavenly. We also went shopping. We came back and were planning on laying by the pool but of course the one weekend we plan to hang by the pool it decides to be 60 degrees. Seriously! When just that week it was in the 90s/100s. So we got ready and did some more shopping.
And this is what we ended up with!
A new dining room table. We have had our eye out to buy one and we seriously couldn't pass this deal up. I LOVE the table! It is even missing a leaf in this picture. It can seat up to 12. Perfect! I can live with the chairs for now but don't you worry they will be recovered. I have big plans for this room: wood floors, rug, new paint, recover chairs, wall decor, and more. But all in good time. We have other things on our mind right now. :)
I loved the staycay and will plan on doing it again.
