Twinsors turn One

Our little babies turned one on May 22nd.  I saved one of their presents for their actual birthday...dr visit complete with shots! I know, I'm mean.

Here are the stats:
Elizabeth
Weight- 20 lbs - 40%
Height- 30" - 75%
Head- 18" -70%

Liam
Weight- 19.5 lbs- 8%
Height- 29 1/2 in - 50%
Head- 17 3/4 in- 40%

Elizabeth is such a joy to be around. She loves to laugh and giggle at everything. She wants to be independent. She hates to be held to eat and just wants to walk around drinking milk. I'm not complaining but it's kinda weird to not have two babies on my lap. She likes to eat but gives the funniest sour face to new food (which she often doesn't try). I give her a variety but when she doesn't eat it I get worried that she will starve. I refuse to have another picky eater so I'm doing my best to prevent it but I might have to cave to a one year old. :) I thought she would be walking by now but she is content with cruising and walking with our help.

Liam is so funny....except for when he is sick (which I swear is often). He has asthma like symptoms almost every month and we just had another dehydration scare just when he was learning to crawl on his knees so it set him back. But now he is back to normal and crawling a bit more on knees. But he still loves the army crawl. In return he is eating more with his hands. Still eats baby food but now that his mobility is increasing so are his fine motor skills. Not perfect but it's a start. He loves to scream and copy Wyatt screaming. We now have two teradactyls living with us. He is kind of picky what he laughs at but once you get him going he won't stop.  Liam especially loves crawling over to our living room.  I don't blame him.  It's my favorite room of the house with its calming blue walls.  He loves music and calms down when I play it.  Liam is also in love with Elmo.  When he is cranky we bust out some YouTube videos of Elmo and we sit and watch.  If your arm or hand gets in the way...watch out!  Liam doesn't want anything blocking his view.

Our house is crazy and loud and we wouldn't have it any other way.
