Wyatt has been cracking me up lately. He says the funniest things. The other day we went in to get the babies up and Elizabeth started talking up a storm. She is starting to say more recognizable words. All of a sudden Wyatt says, "Mom, Elizabeth speaks English!" He was so excited and I got a good laugh.
He goes to Miss Liz for preschool. We have a little carpool and it is so funny to hear them talk to each other. But my favorite is hearing about preschool stories every day. The other day he was telling me about how the whole class was in time out because everyone (but him of course) was talking about their Halloween costumes. He showed me how they had to put their heads on their desks and it was the cutest thing ever. I'm even laughing about it right now. I think it's even funnier to me because I had to pull that trick a few times as a teacher myself.
Wyatt and I still have our "fights" as Jason calls them. But we are figuring each other out. It's mostly over chores but I've learned that I don't need to nag. He will get them done by 8:30. It might not be the way I would do it but he gets them done. He likes to wait until after breakfast and will do one chore then play. Then another chore, etc. As for me, I'm getting better about not nagging about it (at least I think I am). Sigh.
Wyatt loves hugs. Seriously, sometimes a little too much like when I'm in the middle of a poopy diaper or really mad at him. He is pretty sensitive and when he gets in trouble or after a long tantrum, he insists on a hug or the tantrum gets worse. So we hug a lot which I love.
One of Wyatt's jobs is to go get the bread when I remember to order it from our neighbor. It's so cute to see him ride away on his scooter and having responsibility. Gotta love it!
Wyatt is growing up and is just getting more and more fun. Don't worry, we still have tantrums A LOT but it's a lot of fun being his mom.
