Summer of Sequels

This weekend started the summer of sequels for my husband and I. First, we saw Pirates of the Caribbean 3. Today we saw Spiderman 3. I liked the first two movies of each. I'll have to admit that Pirates 3 didn't do it for me. Let me set the stage for a minute. We were in a small movie theater in Prescott with obnoxious people behind us (Jason had to turn around and say, "Shut up!"). It was blazing hot! I left during the middle of the movie to tell the manager about the heat that was killing me. By the way, nothing was done about that. So, needless to say, this movie became the kind where I spent numerous occasions looking at my phone to see what time it was and how much longer I had to endure this torture. Maybe I should see it again in a different setting...that way it might get a better review.



Today, we saw Spiderman 3. It was fabulous! I only looked at my phone once (because I had to go to the bathroom). There was only about 30 minutes left. This movie is a must see. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Two thumbs up!
