This weekend we were able to take a little getaway to the Winsor Cabin in Prescott. Jason's brother and his family joined us. But of course, I forgot the camera. There was about a foot of snow in some areas so we made the most of it. We took the four wheeler and attached the sled on the back for sledding, made a snowman, and threw a few snowballs at each other. One of the best parts was sitting around the fire in the cabin. I sure miss that about Utah...being able to have a fire and sip hot chocolate.
We also had a great time playing games. Our new favorite game (and the only one Jason will play) is Mexican Train. Have you played it? It is with dominoes. I brought lots of cards as well, but Jason would only play this. Why you ask? It's because he can stop anytime you want because you can play as many (or as few) as you want. It actually is quite fun so if anyone wants to "come on ride the train" (it's a choo choo train....you know the song) with us...we are always up for it!
Another highlight was that my neice wanted to watch the Muppets Take Manhattan. I couldn't help but watch it with her. This may be a true confession but I still like that show. It's amazing that the shows you grow up with you will always love. Some of my shows I could never get sick of are Family Band, Happiest Millionaire, and Saved by the Bell. What are your childhood shows that you can never get enough of?

I love Mexican Train...and keeping with the train theme, you should try Ticket 2 Ride...its also fun!
Hmm...I might need to look in to the Mexican Train cuz Ryan doesn't really like playin games, and I love it!! We really should get together some time!
Sounds like a fun weekend!! I miss the Utah snow as well! When we were sick as kids, we'd always watch "Murder She Wrote" during the day with my mom... I still enjoy watching Angela solve those crimes! :)
I used to love Simon and Simon. Did anyone else ever watch that show? And I still enjoy watching reruns of the Brady Bunch.
i can't remember how to play mexican train. you will have to teach me next time we hang out! (aka when you come visit me in omaha!)
Ya tell Jason thanks a lot for introducing Clint to Mex Train. It's ALL he will play now!!! He is addicted.
