my main squeeze

Besides the fact that it is Valentine's Day this week, it is also Jason's birthday today! That's right-the big 31! So I wanted to give a huge shout out to my main squeeze and say some things that I love about him.

1. He gives the best compliments! He is the first to always say how adorable I look or that my eyes are so pretty. We will be watching a movie or tv show and all of a sudden he will say, "You are so beautiful!" I usually tease him and laugh but it always makes me feel good.

2. Jason is great at making me laugh. Whether it is from getting tickled, dodging from the towel at dish time, or singing silly songs Jason makes up he makes life more enjoyable. He loves to have fun so I'm glad he strings me along for the ride.

3. He works hard every day! He goes to work every day yet still comes home and does whatever I ask. Even on Saturdays I only have to tell him once the things I want him to do and WHALAH! they are done. Just yesterday, I told him that the trash needed to be emptied throughout the house. I came back from exercising and it was already done. After a long day of work he is always willing to do the dishes after dinner.

4. I love the way Jason is a worthy, priesthood holder. He helps me to remember the big picture and why we are here doing what we do. I love the simple ways he bears his testimony to me as he comforts me. It is a comfort to know that whenever I need a blessing he is worthy and can give me one right then and there.

5. Jason is hands down the BEST listener. He always listens to my stupid stories, frustrations, or even my attempts to get involved in politics. Not only does he listen to me but he listens to everyone around him.

There are so many more reasons why I love this adorable man! I feel really blessed to have him as my husband. I couldn't have asked for a better one. I love you, Jason! Have a great birthday!
