Three Years!

Jason and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary on Tuesday. It has flown by, but at the same time it seems like we have been married for longer...it's either because we have known each other longer than that or that I just can't imagine life without Jason.

I planned a little treasure hunt for him to do when he got home from work. I got specific items that are "inside jokes" between us during our engagement, wedding day, and honeymoon (finding these items is a story within itself). With his boxing lifestyle, he got home a little later and would have to shower before our big night on the town, so he rushed through the hunt. On our way to eat dinner I was asking him if he got my little jokes. I think he got most of them but I did have to explain a few. (BTW...it's not as fun when you have to explain it).

Then, it was off to dinner. We went to Ruth Chris Steakhouse. It was sooooo good. We had never been there before and it was well worth every penny in gas to get there. Jason was so cute because he brought "fake champagne" (aka Sparkling Cider) for us to drink while we dined. We had so much fun together. We came home and watched Finding Neverland. He gave me the sweetest card and amongst my favorite lines was "I hope you can make it to the play." He got us tickets to My Fair Lady next week. Of course I can make it! That line made me laugh.

I'm so lucky to have such a great husband! He makes me so happy. Thanks, Jas, for everything! You are the best husband ever (sorry ladies....I really do have the best man!)
