Quick, Cheap, and Easy

This describes the kind of sub job I had today. I got the call around 11:25 am, got to the school around noon, and left around 2:35! What a day! I'm exhausted! Just kidding. I had so much fun knowing I made some money just for a measly two hours of "work." Really, it was a step above glorified babysitting but well worth it. After having the long term sub job where I had to plan and "be the teacher for awhile" it was nice to step in and out without any responsibility.

But the quick, easy day did not come without "a moment." Luckily, it wasn't a bad moment, just funny. As I was closing the day out at the carpet, I heard some girls talking in Spanish about my feet! Yes, I understand that they are quite a sight and NOT normal but I was just hoping no one would bring it up (because you know that kids will say anything on their mind). Well, one girl was kind enough to explain to everyone around her (in Spanish) that when you are pregnant your feet get bigger. She would know because her mom just had a baby last month.

Today, I'm thankful for the smart girl who told everyone IN SPANISH why my feet looked weird so I didn't have to explain in English. I commend them for trying to keep it from me.

Kate your too cute. Love this post. Your poor little feet. All those shoes from shabby Apple will sure look cute sooner than you know it.
