White Christmas

Our trip to UT for a White Christmas did not disappoint. The trip started off on a great note when we got upgraded to First Class (perks of a husband that travels a lot). Wyatt loved looking out the window and playing with some of the new gadgets I had gotten for the plane ride.

Jason and I got to go skiing on Tuesday. It wasn't what I call a bluebird day. In fact it was the exact opposite....snowing the whole day! It was freezing but we got in a lot of runs because we would ski down the hill fast because it was so cold. I think we could call ourselves diehards now because that was who was skiing that day.

Christmas Eve is my favorite thing in UT for Christmas. We eat dinner and then deliver gifts. Several years ago, my sister and I were there together and we decided to dress up for the occasion. We put on some green dance uniforms, Hugh was Santa, and my mom was Mrs. Claus, oh, and Devin was being inaugurated into the family by participating as an elf. Well, the tradition has continued even though the founder (me) hasn't been able to participate every year. Whatever family is in town that year dresses up and delivers presents in the neighborhood. My mom has added to the "elf" costumes every year. I was so excited to be able to dress up this year. Jason was a great sport for dressing up. And, of course, have you ever seen a cuter Santa? (He was a little scared of Big Santa at first).

We opened presents on Christmas morning (okay Wyatt did) then we did the annual Nativity Scene as well. Wyatt played the part of Baby Jesus and he did such a great job.

Cute nativity, LOVED the elf costumes, you crack me up. Sounds like you've had a blast up there for Christmas. Glad YOU like the snow, someone has to, hahaha.

I think Wyatt would rather the virgin Mary over santa clause! Did you happen to get a picture of Jason in tights?
