We had a great, relaxing Easter weekend filled with egg hunts, great food, conference talks, and spending time with people we love. We loved having great weather to enjoy and reflect about the resurrection of our Savior.
The week leading up to Easter, I found an idea of the internet on things to do with kids to make Easter not all about the Bunny. So, every day I did a modified version of the week long experience and it was good for everyone to reflect on why Easter is so special. I plan to do it every year and next year I want to do more of the activities because Wyatt will be a bit older and able to understand more.
Don't worry....the Easter Bunny still came to our house.
Wyatt was pretty good finding the eggs and putting them into his basket. We may or may not have practiced with him but I would say it helped quite a bit so he knew what was going on. He enjoyed every bit of candy that was partaken of. He even stole candy from other baskets.
And what is Easter without blue lips? (except apparently Jason was deprived and never did this as a kid)

i love the blue lips! that is too funny because i always put those on my lips too and devin makes fun of me. I didn't buy them this year...i am too busy being addicted to reese's eggs. you can't have just one. wyatt is so cute. can't wait to play with him...he is soooo big since i saw him last (almost a year ago)
Jason WAS deprived - robin egg lips are what part of Easter is all about! ha!
