Utah Trip 2010

Awaiting the preboard can be a daunting chore,
But not when you have airplanes to watch and popcorn to eat
Flying to Utah is anything but a bore.

Visiting the Children's Museum was worth every cent
Even when your child is covered in water 100%.
Reminiscing over your childhood with the lion at the zoo
And comforting your little one when the owl flew over us and went "Who."

Grandma's house is a lot like Disneyland
With cars, trucks, hippos, and toys galore
The gym with bikes in Wyatt's eyes was grand
Daily he asked for a tramp encore.

The Days of '47 festivites don't mess around
The parade, building a helicopter,
and bouncy houses became our playground.

Of course, The Dodo, was top of the list
We went twice! It's that good...
If you get my gist.

Hanging out with family is how we spent our time
While trying at the Nordie's Sale not to spend our every dime

Although we missed seeing our dad (Jason)
Being in 1,000 degree heat is bad
Ten day minimum is what I like to say
I think next year it will be a two week vacay.
(BTW... I know the poem is not my best so please don't report me to the Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. :))
