Now that summer is fast approaching with this horrible heat wave we are having, Wyatt is willing to wear flip flops. We have tried these before but he wanted nothing to do with the fabric between his toes. I have every intention he will learn to put these on by himself and eventually won't need the back strap. This is only day two and he doesn't wear them for long but he at least chose them from the many pairs that he owns. But sometimes he says, "Ow, ow, ow!" while first walking in them and then all of sudden forgets about it and races to his destination. Small victory in my book.

Tatum and Dane never want to wear flip flops. I'm tired of folding socks. Crew wants nothing to do with shoes/socks--just flip flops. But only Dane's. Not his own. Not ones that would fit him properly and keep him from tripping. I think I'm going to take all socks and tennis shoes away this summer and force their feet into the easiness of sandals or flip flops. I'm tired of tying shoelaces and helping with socks!!
