My mom always taught me....

If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Apparently, this lesson isn't as universal as I thought.

So I've officially been pregnant longer with twins than I was with Wyatt. Needless to say this week has been rough. I'm growing like a weed and more uncomfortable than EVER! Jason keeps reminding me that we have prayed for two years, I mean 9 months, for healthy babies. I know come Monday I'll be happy to hear/say that but for now it doesn't help.

You know what else isn't helpful? The looks and comments I get from friends, family members, and, yes, even pregnant women. Ugh! I've heard things like, "Your belly is ridiculous!" to "Wow! You have even grown since I saw you last week." or my favorite, "You look like you were due yesterday." Or when people tell you what works to go into labor. Guess what? Chances are I've tried it. Even just the stares and double takes kill me.

Once again. Not something that a highly hormonal, very done with being pregnant, woman wants to hear or see.

I didn't want to spend my last week of "freedom" being a hermit but maybe I should have. It would have saved me a few tears and angry feelings.

I've had fun going to lunch, a few GNOs, date night with Wyatt, date night with Jason, activities with Wyatt, seeing Moroni on the Gilbert Temple (post to come), and today we have some fun things as a family of three planned. But I could have lived without the looks and comments. My friend was right. He doesn't say anything to pregnant women almost due because even a "you look great," can turn ugly. :)

So for the twins' sake I'm posting my last pregnant pictures for our book. But remember, "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all."

Where did you find a maternity shirt that was long enough to cover your belly? (and no, I'm not saying that to say that your belly is so huge...) I swear, all my maternity shirts were showing the bottom half of my nerdy panel pants! :) Do share your shopping secret. Because I got so tired of yanking them down all day long.

And really, the fact that you're pregnant with twins and still standing upright when you're full term is INCREDIBLE! Wow. Be safe having those little babies. I can't wait to meet them!!

I for one think you looked amazing for being twin pregnant. No really, you did.
