Today Jason and I ran in the annual Pat's Run (referring to Pat Tillman). It was so crowded. I dodged people the entire time, 4.2 miles. The whole time I thought, "Maybe I'm in better shape this year and running with the faster runners or there is WAY more people than last year." Turns out there were a few, and when I say a few I mean a few thousand, more people this year than in the years past. It was worth it though because at the end of the race you get to run into Sun Devil Stadium and onto the field. The finish line is on the 42nd yard line. All of the ASU football players are there cheering you on. I felt like a superstar seeing myself on the jumbotron. But, most importantly, I beat my time from last year! I shaved about three, okay maybe 2 1/2-3 minutes, off of my time from last year. I guess I am in better shape!
