So...last week there was record breaking heat, then a 30 degree drop just two days later. What is this? We went up to the Winsor's cabin in Prescott for Memorial Weekend. It was freezing for the first few days but warmed up afterwards. I had to wear my "Utah" coat as some like to call it (big, puffy, down coat)...one that you might wear skiing.
My mom and Hugh were in town so we had a big family bbq on Monday afternoon in Gilbert. It was fun chillin' with the fam.
Now, I am spending my days playing "mommy." Playing mommy you ask? I am tending my brother's kids for a week. It has been so much fun. I love just laughing at the funny things they say. I'm now realizing all of the things moms go through. It's just as difficult as working full time (even though I knew that before, I just never experienced it for more than two days). Danny, my nephew, has gone to the bathroom in the "potty" twice now. Don't get me wrong...I'm not trying to potty train him but it is pretty fun seeing them get so excited about doing it. I can't imagine what it will be like to witness my own kids doing it. So, here's to motherhood!

Here's to motherhood indeed. It takes a special lady to handle such an important job. I think you're up for it when the time comes!
Kate,
It's great to hear from you. Its been such a long time. We are just discovering this whole blog thing (right now, I do a lot more reading than posting). Now that our readership is more than my brother, I might actually have to write something. Anyways, we are down in Texas, for almost a year now. Things are going well. Hope all is well with you guys.
You are going to make a fantastic mom!
So when are you going to come watch my kids? What a great sister you are! You will seriously be the best mom because you have so much patience.
