So, as you all know I have been dreaming of a "new do" for my living room. Thanks to my good friend, Heather, and Jason it finally happened. As I mentioned earlier, Heather came over one day to answer a question and the next minute we found ourselves moving my couches. If we had not done it then it would have never gotten done. Thanks, Heather, for the inspiration and affirmation that it went well (I wouldn't make any moves without her consent). Jason basically moved everything else and put the curtain rods in. I just bought everything that we didn't have (dang it...I HAD to go shopping!).
Drumroll, please..............................................Here are the finishing touches of our "new" room.
I LOVE it! It looks and feels so much better than before. If you didn't know what it looked like before, I basically just switched where the tv/couches were to where the piano is now (and vice versa). I still have a few ideas up my sleeve (and one day I'll get a flat screen put on the wall), but I think I better move on to Junior's room. This only took me 2 1/2 years to do. Junior comes in just a few short months so I better move quickly. Wish me luck! I need all the help I can get. Heather...you busy?

LOVE IT!
Nice work, I like this WAY better!
you're so stinkin cute! Ok so did you get in, invited you!! :)
The curtains look GREAT!! Good job Mama! Also, just so you know... you have two more friends in the "bad teeth/sacrifice all your savings to the dentist" people. Greg and I both have teeth that seem to attract cavities despite all out attempts to stop it. Hope you get some sub jobs soon.
Don't you love home makeovers? Looks great Kate!
Nothing like moving the furniture. It is that whole nesting thing. Get ready Jason cause it will drive you nuts!
I don't know what it looked like before (since we've never been invited for dinner) but I like the new do!
nice, now I need to see the pictures of baby winsor's room, okay I know I only live 5 min. and can come see the room myself, but I am so comfy sitting at my computer right now.:)
Looks good!
You know, sometimes you just need someone else to give you the "nod" and then it all falls into place. I need that "someone" now!
