Goodbye Mr. Harris

Jason's choir teacher from high school was retiring so his daughters wanted to do something special for him. Special is the best word to describe this reunion. They contacted all of his former students and made a Reunion Committee, made tshirts, had a practice to sing some songs, and had everyone come up at the end to sing Mr. Harris' two favorite songs- the two songs that he has his choir sing at the end of the Spring Sing every year, and even had an "after party." He was pretty emotional but who wouldn't be? I was telling Jason that for a teacher that is so special to see all of your former students making something of themselves. I kind of got emotional just being there and thinking about how Mr. Harris would feel. But then I had to leave a tad early due to the tired toddler on my hip.

Jason was in charge of taking pictures so these are the two that you get to see. (lol)

I've asked a few people who was there and what'd they sing, but nobody ever writes me back! Nobody, and I mean NOBODY had a chior like our high school. To this day, certain songs just are high school. For example, "America- and the Dream Goes On!" Graduation goosebumps for decades!
