Election Night 2012

Today our family is suffering from Post Election Depression. Mitt Romney ran against President Obama. Although it is difficult to beat an incumbent, we were hopeful. But yet we were defeated.

I prayed today for our amazing country, both parties, President Obama, Mitt Romney, and my husband's job. I know the President wants what is best for America even though our views might be different on how to get there. I'll keep praying for our leaders because I'm grateful to be an American. And to live in a free country.

I'm excited I have the right to vote but I'm starting to question if my vote ever counts. :) Lets be honest, many things/people I vote for doesn't happen. FB was full of political posts lately and I never got annoyed. I loved that people were getting involved with issues they care about. But I hope we can work together because it looks like our country is divided. I am not against anyone who may disagree with my stance. In fact I respect your stance. But I just hope our country can change for the better for all of us. :)

Jason said, "There goes my job," when the results came in. I hope it doesn't. I hope that our country and the Constitution is defended. After all, our forefathers were guided on how to set up this country. They were some great men or so I've heard. :)

Im not one to get all political but I sure thought our constitution was "hanging by a thread" already but I guess we still have more to learn.

God Bless the USA!
