Habla Espanol?

I started my Spanish class for my ESL endorsement (for school). Last night was the first class. Let's just say I don't think I will be learning a whole lot of new things. It was a breeze! I was actually bored in a language class. If you know me, I love to learn different languages. I'm pretty much fluent in several of them (fluent to me is knowing how to say a few phrases) lol. Spanish is the one language I'm the best at. I took 5 years in junior high and high school. I even attempted to take the AP Spanish test but didn't pass. I got a 2 (passing was a 3). At least I didn't get a 1. I sometimes surprise myself at how much I remember. Anyway, I thought about testing out of the class so I wouldn't have to spend the next few months in Spanish 1 & 2. I made a few phone calls and realized that there is NO WAY I would be able to test out of the class, due to the level of difficulty of the "test out" exam. Oh well, I think I can stand being the Honor student of the class as well as the Teacher's Pet. It's what I do best! Besides, I have lots of friends that attend the class so it makes it more enjoyable. Wish me luck or should I say Buena Suerte!

(BTW, I told Jason that I will be speaking more Spanish around the house and his reply was, "Good, then I don't have to answer because I won't be able to understand." Men...always looking for a way out to not talk!! I just told him that he will be learning it along with me. :)
