"It's okay, Kate has one!"

Last week my sweet niece, Macey, fell off of a mule. Everything is fine but she ended up breaking her arm. The mule actually stepped on her as well. She got a CT scan and everything was in working order. I saw her last night and I asked her about it. She said, "Yeah, I'm good. We thought the horse was going to step over me but instead she stepped on me!" She is four years old so it was quite a hoot talking to her about it.

Later her parents told me that while they were in the hospital they wanted to wrap her arm. Needless to say she was a bit scared but something calmed her down. As they were wrapping her arm, she kept saying, "Kate had one of these. I'll be okay. It didn't hurt Kate." (For those of you who don't know...I burned my arm (again!) awhile ago and had to treat and wrap it for a few weeks). I'm glad to know that my injuries can help others through their trials.:)

Nice to know she can draw strength from you. I am just glad she is OK. We were sure worried there for a while.

I saw Macey at the Y with her arm in a sling. Glad she's okay. That's a cute story.

Who knew that Jasons frantic calling of your name would turn into such a blessing? :)
