I had such a great night tonight and wanted to share it all with you. Tonight was the Relief Society Broadcast for my church. I loved the talks that were given and I definitely felt the Spirit. It made me want to have more faith, serve more, and love others better. Basically, be a better person. But I LOVED President Uchtdorf's talk most of all. He seemed to nail me on the head. He said that women are generally hard on themselves for just about everything. Who me??? Never! He continued to say that while this could be a good trait so we could love God with all our might and want to please Him, sometimes we could get down on ourselves for coming up short. Later on he mentioned that we shouldn't be afraid to do something because we are afraid of failure. I wish I could go back and read it right now...don't worry in a few short weeks it will be available for me to review. Tonight made me so excited to watch Conference next weekend. For those who don't know, our church does a worldwide broadcast twice a year on Saturday and Sunday, where our prophet and other leaders speak and uplift us to be and do better. Before I tell about the movie let me just tell you about this afternoon. Jason loves to see movies. I told him a few days ago I wanted to see this movie this weekend. He wasn't too excited about it because he thought it would be cheesy. Today he even suggested to go see the "new romantic comedy" that was playing. I asked, "Which one is that?" I couldn't believe he was even suggesting that! He HATES those movies! I normally have to see it by myself, with others, or BEG and BEG for Jason to come with me.
Now that you have that background, let me tell you about the movie. This movie is about the Highland Rugby team in SLC, UT. I wanted to see it because I had several friends play a few years on this team. This team has had a long history of winning the National Championship. This movie (although some parts were probably cheesy) was incredible! I'm not sure if it is my love for the Haka (which I kept singing to Jason and performed it for him when we got home just in case he didn't know I knew it), anything dealing with New Zealand, and rugby, or if the movie was really that good that made me appreciate it. Jason even said he liked it so it must be good. It is definitely a keeper and I will be purchasing it the first day I can. Kia Kaha!

I have been wanting to see that one too. I think we'll try to make it this weekend or next. I'm glad you liked it!!
So this got me wondering... way back when you redecorated your bathroom you said you were 100% Samoan. True or not? Jarad thinks there's "no way!" I must know.
