My name is Kate Winsor and I am a breastfeeding addict. I write down every time I feed Wyatt in a notebook and put how many minutes each feeding takes. Sometimes I even get crazy and put his naps in too to keep track of his sleeping habits.
Until now.
I decided that since Wyatt was growing up that I should too. Ever since Wyatt's birth, I have written down every time I have fed him in this little book. It all started in the hospital and it never stopped until now. I'm a free woman! I'm going on 5 days now. It really feels liberating. My mom is probably the only one excited about this post because she laughed at me every time I would write it in. I started weaning myself and stopped writing down the night time feedings and then one day said that I was going to try not writing it down all day...you know....cold turkey! I was a little apprehensive but was surpised how easy it was.
The Final Entry
It feels so good to come clean and finally quit!

I think I did that one day and that was enough for me to see that I nursed ALOT. That is so funny how long you kept that journal. Keep it and show him when he's all grown up, I'm sure he will LOVE it. :)

I did the same thing and my mom laughed so much I stopped. I can't believe you kept it up so long...I guess we are both either very organized/orderly or just spazzes! :)
