Funny Nursing Habits

I want to remember these funny nursing habits that Wyatt has.

Often times he refuses to burp between sides. He starts crying and pushing his head back because he is not done eating. He wants his food and he wants it NOW! After both sides are complete he will burp for a little bit but then he wants to view the world...instead of my shoulder or what's behind me!

Another thing Wyatt does while nursing is sometimes he will hold his hand in a tight fist like he is a boxer at the beginning up by his face. What he is trying to say is, "Mess with my food, mess with me!" I can't help it if he learned boxing skills from his father (and I did do kickboxing while prego so maybe that has something to do with it too). He eventually relaxes his hands but it is too cute.

Lastly, Wyatt eats pretty much every two hours, on occasion it can be longer. We went over to my brother's house on Sunday to visit and hang out. My nephew said, "Kate, did you just come over here to feed Wyatt?" Pretty much. I can't complain (even though sometimes I do) because he sleeps well at night without any feedings! He takes lots of little naps throughout the day between the two hour feedings. So, if you are ever with me during the day chances are you will get a glimpse of me breastfeeding. :)
