Kick off to Celebration Month!

As many of you know Jason and I started something called "Celebration Week" while we were dating. Our birthdays are a week apart so we decided to celebrate the entire week. As the years have come and gone, I decided why stop at a week? We got engaged about a week before my birthday, then it is my birthday, then Jason's birthday, and then Valentines' Day. We just heart February! Sometimes it gets tedious because we both feel like we write too many cards during this month (and we just wrote a Christmas card for crying out loud). LOL!

So this year Celebration Month started off with me getting a massage. I never wrote about this but when I came home from the hospital after having Wyatt, Jason had left a dozen yellow roses and a gift card to Massage Envy on the counter so it was the first thing I saw when I came home. It was so cute because in the card it said, "Good job on your delivery and the first few days of motherhood!" What a sweatheart! Anyway, my back was bothering me so Jason said, "See if you can go get in to use your gift card and I will give Wyatt a bottle and put him to bed." He didn't have to twist my arm. It was so relaxing! I can't wait until I can go again.

Then on Saturday I got my birthday present. I've been wanting this for FOREVER! I'm so excited. I can't wait to go to Costco and buy things and get all organized. (Okay, I'm a geek but a cool geek!)

Then on Saturday night we went on our first date without baby. My mom was in town and she offered to babysit. Woo hoo! Being without Wyatt felt nice but a tad weird. We went with friends to Kona Grill to celebrate my bday (and Jason's) but mostly mine because I'm turning the big 30! Of course I took my camera to take a picture for the blog but we were having such a wonderful time that I forgot to take a picture. Thanks Emily and Tammy (oh and all of the males too) for coming out for my bday. We had a blast!

Can't wait to find out what else the rest of Celebration Month has in store.
