Then when I pick him up one of two things happens:
1. He either starts babbling and "ooing and ahhing" and is super excited to be up and ready to eat and play
or
2. He is crying! Sometimes he gets awaken from his naps a little early due to gas or just his inability to stay asleep past the 45 minute sleep cycle. Sometimes he cries if it has been more than 2 1/2 hours between feedings. I can tell when I won't get the giggling Wyatt if he had a longer nap or if he slept a long time at night.
Either way it is cute!

In other BIG news...yesterday Wyatt rolled over! I was beginning to worry that Wyatt was behind the times with the whole rolling over. I mean it did take him awhile to smile so I only expected him to take a little longer with rolling over. We have been practicing "Oops a daisy" for a long time. It was so funny because I was a mean mom and making Wyatt do tummy time. He is starting to like it better sometimes now. I decided that I was going to shred some paper to help drown out the crying. Much to my surprise he didn't cry. I was shredding some paper and I turn around and he was on his back. How did that happen? I tried to have him do it again but it was a one time deal. Hopefully it happens again soon.
It was a proud mommy moment!

Yay for rolling over! This is just the beginning! It all changes once they can get around--no more staying put.
