Because of the cuteness of my little BOY many passerbyers mistake Wyatt as a girl. Be not mistaken, he is a boy! I often find myself correcting them but on occasion I just let them find out on their own when they get closer and realize it for themselves. Or when my reply is "HE is four months old!" they are full of chagrin. Don't they know that if Wyatt was a girl she would have a big, pink bow in her hair. What kind of mother do they think I am letting my little girl go out without a bow or a dress? Seriously!
I decided that since Wyatt was being mistaken for a girl, I just had to go out and by some MANLY clothes. You know...things that said he was a boy because I'll admit he is a cutie pie!

Mr. Hot Stuff-just like his daddy!

Ellie used to get mistaken for a boy while wearing pink, having a bow in her hair, etc. It used to really bug me but then I realized that people just weren't paying attention!
I am one of those horrible Mom's who doesn't put a bow on my girl very often (mostly because I know as soon as she has hair I will HAVE to do it so I am enjoying not doing it for the time being) and people are constantly mistaking her for a boy. It doesn't matter that she is wearing pink or purple, since she is bald she must be a boy!
It's so true. I had Tatum in pink clothes and stuff, but if she didn't have anything in her non-existent hair, then she must have been a boy. Lame. If I'm not sure I just always say, "Your BABY is cute...etc." Don't people know that?! :) Love the "man clothes".
i understand your pain! elijah got called a girl DAILY!!! even when dressed in blue from head to toe...with trucks smocked across his chest! i would just blame it on the smocking, but just ayesterday when i was at hobby lobby the cashier said i had a pretty litte girl...he was wearing plaid shorts, a VERY boy dog shirt, and boy shoes...so it's not the clothes! i guess we just have pretty boys!i just wonder how long it'll go!?
That is hilarious! It always seems so wierd to me when people can't tell, I mean, I think he looks like a boy, no question. I was always REALLY bugged when people would mistake Maggie for a boy. 'Cause I AM one of those Moms that NEVER left the house without bows in her hair. AND, AND her hairs were pierced, so what was the confusion people? Anyway, cute post.
