Now that it is almost Thanksgiving, it is starting to feel like Fall around here. I swear it seems a little later than usual but I won't complain because we are loving it. This week we really have enjoyed the outdoors.
For starters, on Saturday, Jason put up more outdoor landscaping lights in our backyard. They look so nice. We wanted to enjoy them so after we put Wyatt to bed on Sunday night we took blankets out and gazed up into the stars. We were a bit chilled so awhile later we came in and had hot chocolate. What?! I know, is it too early? We didn't think so because it hit the spot.
Wyatt and I have been to the park every day. We both have also been wearing pants every day. I'm kind of over capris and shorts for now so I'm SO glad that the weather is agreeing with me. We even made a trip to the zoo to enjoy the weather. Speaking of the zoo, Wyatt loved it. He kept saying all the animal sounds and just laughing and following his cousin, Hughie, around. Wyatt is Hughie's shadow. We took his new red wagon and it was a joy to have him hop in and out by himself instead of me trying to get him out of the stroller every animal.
Every night we play a quick game of Family Frisbee. Wyatt loves throwing it than having "mommy do it" and "daddy do it" afterwards. We run (Wyatt's new favorite word and activity) to get it and then repeat. Last night was no exception. Jason and I got a kick out of our frisbee skills. If we are not playing frisbee we are going for a bike ride around the neighborhood.
Can you tell we love this weather? Can't it stay this way forever?
