Thanks, Heidi

Last week I was watching Project Runway. I was thinking how everyone on this show is brave and they take risks to be up in the fashion world. I saw Heidi Klum's hair and how she had bangs and it was way short, especially for her. Was I brave enough to take some risks with my hair? Usually I just get the normal trim and highlight and call it good. Well, I was feeling daring. I already had my hair appointment because it was in dire need of therapy. It was dark in spots that it shouldn't be dark and ends were starting to split.

So, I googled pictures the night before my hair therapy session and came across this pic of Heidi.
I thought, "I could pull this off." So, my stylist did wonders and this is the finished product. I'm still getting used to the whole bang thing but I love it (and so does Jason). I'm still working on mastering the style and getting the soft bang look but, I am hair illiterate sometimes, so it may take me awhile. Plus the "soft bangs" get in my eyes/face too much. This is no Heidi Klum picture but maybe after a boob job I could pull the look off. :)

Super cute Kate. I kept thinking something looked different about you the other night at book club, but just wasn't sure. Now I know. Love it! Way to be daring and just go for it.

I think the cut is super cute. But I have a question - now that you have had the cut for a little bit, do you still like it? Is it a pain to style? Every time I want a change and ask for bangs, I regret it pretty quickly. So I am just wondering if it was pretty easy to get used to or do the short bangs kind of bug you? But seriously - your cut is really cute. I usually end up with a pony tail everyday cuz my baby is in the grabby stage and tugs on it if it is down (and he has a grip on him).
