Santa came to visit our park today. While waiting in line, Wyatt was so excited to see Santa. We asked him what he wanted to tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas. His reply, "White car..... like that one (and pointed to the car that Santa drove up in)."
Wyatt got to sit on Santa's lap. Okay Jason did but in Wyatt's behalf. Wyatt was not going to let go of Jason even if his life depended on it. That makes it two years in a row where Wyatt is not a fan.
If you asked him later, he would say it was totally worth the candy cane!

Santa was at our ward party this morning and my 2 year old was not about to sit on his lap either. She happily took the candy cane but wanted nothing to do with the jolly man himself. Luckily the 6 month old and 6 year old posed nicely with Santa.
Hold out hope! Emma hated Santa when she was 1 and 2, but this year, she was a HUGE fan... because she finally gets the concept that HE is solely responsible for her Christmas morning happiness. She was thrilled to sit on his lap and tell him everything. So NEXT YEAR, Wyatt should be a champ! :)

I laughed out loud at Jason on Santas lap, that is too freaking cute! He's way nicer than I am. I like to just force them on to Santas lap and see their screaming and crying. I'm mean like that. I'm hoping this year Max won't cry, but I won't hold my breath.
